Vaping Kit Review: Tesla Nano 60w, Aspire Nautilus Tank and Element E-Liquid | Plus Giveaway

I had been looking into vape machines for a while as the next step up from the standard e-cigarette so, when the team over at e-cigarette direct offered to send me out some of the products they stock to try out I said yes. I was able to put together the elements of the kit including the base unit, tank and 4 different flavoured liquids.

In this post I will be reviewing the base unit, tank and Element liquid as I have not had the opportunity to review the other liquids yet so, there will be a subsequent post once I have managed to try them. There is also a Giveaway at the bottom of the post where you could win £100 to spend at e-cigarette direct to get you started out or if you are like Pete add to your collection. (more…)

WINTER SKINCARE GIFT LIST – FACIAL CLEANSING BRUSH ETC | AD

Winter Skincare Gift List - Facial Cleansing Brush, Cleanser, Moisturiser

With Christmas approaching fast I thought I would put together some fantastic winter skincare items that would be a welcome addition to any beauty lovers collection.

1. Panasonic 3-in-1 Micro-Foaming  facial cleansing brush  £149.99- I have been after an electronic facial cleansing brush for a while now as I find the manual face brushes don’t quite do the job. What I like about this brush in particular is the fact it has a smaller brush attachment to get to the pores and the skin around your nose, around my nose has always been my problem area. This brush also has a warming plate that you run over your face to aid with the removal of makeup which, sounds extremely interesting.

2. Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser from £15.50  – This is one of my holy grail products! I honestly get extremely unhappy when I have run out of this and don’t have a backup. I would say I have been using this product now for about 7 years following a PR package from the brand themselves. What I love about this product is that it not only cleanses your skin but it does add a degree of moisture too. This product is perfect for those of you with dry skin because of that extra moisture factor. I mostly use this with my facial cleansing brush removing any left over product with the muslin cloths. Guest Post: The Natural Mama’s Guide to Beauty

Natural Beauty ProductsHello makeup lovers! I’m Kelly and Ems has bravely entrusted her blog to me today. You can normally find me over at Our Little Organic Life, my organic lifestyle blog where I talk about all things to do with healthy eating, natural living and conscious parenting. But just because I’m a bit of a crunchy mama, doesn’t mean I don’t like to look good. Being ethical and environmentally conscious does not mean dressing like a charity shop reject and smelling of old hemp oil. But with a 2011 report finding cadmium, arsenic, nickel and lead all present in leading brand cosmetics (including L’Oreal, Clinique and Maybelline), it was pretty important for me to put a little more thought into what I was smearing onto my body’s largest organ: my skin.

So I’m here to share my top ten natural mama beauty products. A lot of them don’t come cheap, but I can promise you (speaking as a former conventional product junkie of many years), it’s such a fantastic feeling to open your makeup bag and you just see a few really luxurious products in there – things you don’t need to feel bad about owning and you know you will use every day and that are safe to use. And I’m spending far less now than I used to on ‘cheaper’ conventional skincare and cosmetics which were filled with cancer causing parabens, heavy metals and other toxic chemicals. (more…)
