born to run palette

I have been meaning to post my review of this palette for a few weeks but, moving and being a mum has had to come first. I hesitantly purchased the Born to Run palette after my disaster with the Backtalk palette! I was umming and arghing in the lead up to the release as £39.50 when you are in the midst of a move is money that could be better spent on a tin of paint.

I quite obviously caved and shelled out for the palette and its everything I had hoped the Backtalk palette had been! The palette is pigmented with the right amount of mattes to shimmers/frosts and blends like a dream. I was really happy that the palette had a mixture of colours rather than being from the same family as the Naked palettes.

My absolute favourite shades in this palette are the oranges which, I used to create the following look.

I used Breakaway on the brow bone, Still Hot in the crease, Baja in outer corner and Wildheart in the inner portion of the eye.

Here are all of the shades swatched using a finger over the top of Inglot Shadow Keeper:

So, I am sure you can guess from my earlier comments that the Born to Run Palette gets a massive thumbs up over here and I cant wait to create more looks with the palette over the next few weeks.
