Review – Dollibox Beauty Box

Dollibox Beauty Box

Dollibox Beauty Box is not a box I had heard of before so, when they emailed and asked if I would like to review their November box I was quite excited to see what they were all about.

Dollibox is a newcomer to the UK beauty box scene and first impressions were very positive.

The cute bright pink box arrived covered in the brands logo, upon opening I was very pleased to see that there was no unnecessary extra packaging, I get a little annoyed when there is tons of extra pacakaging its not needed and its not environmentally friendly.

Dollibox Beauty Box Enough about packaging lets discuss the good bit, the contents of the box:

Skintruth Velvet Soft Facial Serum, Full-size (RRP £17.99)

skin truth serum

The serum is suitable for all skin-types which is supposed to restore radiance and replenish moisture. The perfect product for this time of year as most of us battle dryness in the winter months. (I havent tried this one out yet as I have been battling with really bad eczema and have to use medicated products at the moment. I will review this at a later date once my skin has healed)

Bramley Body Wash with Mandarin, Lemongrass and essential oils, Travel Size 100ml (RRP £6.00)P1020962

I have used this a few times since receiving it because I just love the scent, especially in the mornings as it has one of those wake me up smells. I would most certainly replace this product once it runs out as I just love it so much.

ModelCo Shine Ultra Lip Gloss, Full-size (RRP £16.00)P1020964

Unfortunately I am not really a gloss girl so, this product will go into my kit as it is the perfect pink for brides. The image does not do the colour justice at all, its very pigmented mid-pink and smells just like strawberry chewits, I could just sit there and sniff it all day long!

Egyptian Magic, Sample (RRP £16.95 for 59ml)

I have tried this previously and can only describe it as caviar for the skin, by that I mean it is a little pricey but my goodness this cream is just wonderful. There is no overpowering scent and its not too greasy yet its very thick and luscious. I highly recommend this product.

MOA The Green Balm, Sample (RRP £12.50 for 50ml)P1020965

Now this little pot of goodness has a long list of what you can use it for but, the one that obviously jumped out at me was “Soothe dry and itchy skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis and minor rashes”. I have been using the balm on the little patches of itchy eczema on my wrists and it most certainly does reduce the itch. As there are so many uses listed I will revisit this product for a full review in the future.

TanOrganic Self Tanning Oil, sample (RRP £24.99)P1020967

I am not a self tanner never have been and never will be, I love my pale skin 🙂 The product itself has a pleasant scent and its organic so, from talking to tanning friends thats a great thing. I will be passing this product along to a friend who tans to see what her thoughts are and I will get back to you with her verdict.

I was very impressed with the products in this box and I think its great that it follows a winter theme as all of the skin products are perfect for winter skin issues.

Dollibox do three packages: Monthly £13.25 inc P+P, 6 Monthly £12.25 inc P+P or yearly £11.75 inc P+P.

I cant wait to see what the brand do as they grow and the other brands they work with.

Have you already tried Dollibox? If so tell me what you thought in the commentsEms
